| Maududi | and his wealth shall be of no avail to him when he perishes. |

| Sahih | And what will his wealth avail him when he falls? |
| Yusuf Ali | Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit). |

surah 92 - verse 14

| Arberry | Now I have warned you of a Fire that flames, |
| Maududi | I have now warned you of a Blazing Fire, |
| Pickthall | Therefor have I warned you of the flaming Fire |
| Sahih | So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing. |
| Yusuf Ali | Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely; |

| Maududi | where none shall burn except the most wicked, |

| Sahih | None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one. |

surah 92 - verse 17

| Arberry | and from which the most godfearing shall be removed, |
| Maududi | But the God-fearing shall be kept away from it, |
| Pickthall | Far removed from it will be the righteous |
| Sahih | But the righteous one will avoid it - |
| Yusuf Ali | But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it,- |

| Yusuf Ali | But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High; |
